Japanya

Japanya is a family-run internet business based in Pinner and has been importing and selling Japanese gifts and kimono through their website for the last five years.

The name, Japanya, uses the Japanese word ya meaning roof. It is commonly used as a suffix in Japanese words for shops, for example, nikkuya (butchers), panya (bakers) and honya (bookshop). In addition to a variety of Japanese gifts, we sell a wide selection of kimono (mainly cotton) for both men and women in a variety of colours and sizes.

Japanya also offers free Japanese name translation through its second website: www.kanjizone.com

Due to limited space, we will only be able to bring a small selection of our Japanese gifts to HYPER JAPAN. These will include: chopsticks, folding fans, origami paper, lucky cats, daruma, greeting cards, samurai sword paper knives, keyrings and jewellery.

If you would like Japanya to bring along a particular item which you have seen on their website, for example a kimono, please drop them a line and they will do their best to bring it along on the day.
