At HYPER JAPAN, we know how much cosplayers love Square Enix games, so we’ve teamed up with our friends at Square Enix Products to offer a special contest, just for you!

The contest is open to cosplayers with costumes from Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest, Star Ocean and other video games or movies published by Square Enix (including Square and Enix games).

Both individual cosplayers and groups can enter for the chance to win a selection of Square Enix merchandise!

Square Enix Products will be exhibiting HYPER JAPAN, so be sure to visit their booth for a selection of the latest plush toys, figures and soundtracks from your favourite games!

Eligibility

To apply for the Square Enix Cosplay Battle you must:

  • Have your form signed by an adult if you are under 18.
  • Be available to come to Olympia Two, London on Sunday 24th July 2011

Judging

Costumes must have been made by the applicants, or their friends and family. Purchased costumes are not allowed in the competition. Costumes will be judged on accuracy, resemblance and craftsmanship.

Prizes

One first prize and two runner-up prizes will be awarded. The winners will receive a selection of goodies, courtesy of Square Enix. You may enter as an individual or a group – however, for larger groups, we cannot guarantee individual prizes for each group member.

How to Apply

There are two ways to enter:

1. In advance (online)

2. On the Day

Bring your completed form and reference picture to the Cosplay Desk by 12.00pm on Sunday 24th July.
