Are you a budding sushi chef? Would you love to learn from the experts? Then it’s time for you to take the KIKKOMAN Sushi Challenge! HYPER JAPAN is looking for sushi beginners and enthusiasts alike to take part in the KIKKOMAN Sushi Challenge as Sushi Challengers on the HYPER JAPAN stage on Friday 1st October and Saturday 2nd October. Sushi Challengers will be invited onto the HYPER JAPAN stage to learn some essential sushi techniques from our resident sushi expert, Tomokazu Matsuya from SO Restaurant. After Chef Matsuya’s instruction, the Sushi Challengers will have a chance to practice for themselves. Then comes the competition! The Sushi Challengers will be asked to make nigirizushi (that’s the kind where the sushi neta, or topping, is placed on top of a bed of sushi rice), under the watchful eye of Chef Matsuya. The best sushi wins – the winner will receive an exclusive Jumbo Inflatable KIKKOMAN Soy Sauce Dispenser – not available anywhere in the shops!
